Musical numbers and international folklore will both entertain and educate audiences at this year?s Israel Education Summit. Musician and conductor Maestro Nir Brand will be the official emcee of the two-day summit on June 4-5 in Tel Aviv.
Brand, an international performer, combines music from Bach to The Beach Boys and Mozart with Sting. He plays the piano, sings and jokes with his audiences while his musical choices support his ideas as an additional communicative language.

Connecting educators as well as cultures

?My work enables me to engage with people everywhere in a different way,? he told the South African Jewish Report last year. ?An array of emotions can be conveyed and explored through music as a universal tool kit. So without knowing it, we actually speak to each other while no words?are necessary.

Maestro Nir is an educator. Together with his wife Ilana, they founded ClassiKid, a series of 18 workshops and performances which bring professional musicians to collaborate with teachers in schools and educate students culturally and emotionally through music. The impressive success of working with over 100,000 young students in Israel launched a few new beginnings of Classikid global.

?I am delighted to have this internationally recognized Israeli talent on stage adding a new dimension to the Summit this year,? said Dr. Yaki Dayan, founder of EdTech Israel and the Israel Education Summit. ?His unique style, energy and ideas will engage our guests from all over the world.?
